If Karla and Jake's engagement shoot is anything to go by, this wedding was going to be absolute fire. The weather did not disappoint with a cracking summer Saturday at Abbeville Estate. Hands down one of my favorite venues to work at! Not only are the staff AMAZING but the options are endless, from the church, secret garden, cottage, tree line driveway.... I could go on. If you get married here in the summer you can count on being surrounded by butterflies. Its hard to pick a favorite image, but there is one of Karla, Jake and 2 perfectly timed monarchs.
Jake surprised Karla by playing guitar for her while she walked down the isle *tears*. I love the light all around this venue! Eventually it clouded over and we even had some unexpected rain - check out the last pictures for the results!
The couples advice?
"Everyone says your wedding day is going to pass in a blur... it really does! So take some time out with your new husband or wife, just the two of you. Get a planner for the day to stop people from asking you for help. Use a makeup artist that you trust and don't stray too far from your usual style".
